Pawelł Sobowiec and  Krzysztof Trzaskowski 's India Tour, 2010

2010 is being celebrated as the Year of Chopin globally. To commemorate the Year of Chopin in India, the Fryderyk Chopin Music University, Warsaw, Poland has prepared a special CD for India, titled Chopin for India.

This is a unique gift prepared specially for India by the Academy at the request and the initiative taken by the Embassy of Poland in India to India.

The Embassy of Poland in India, in collaboration with INTACH, have designed the project Chopin for Children, bringing the magic of Chopin’s music to the children of India, spanning seven cities across the country. 2000 CDs have been made and are being presented to all participants of the project.

The two young pianists, Paweł Sobowiec and Krzysztof Trzaskowski, who have recorded for the CD, have been deputed and granted a privilege by the University to visit India around the end of August to take part in our events. Both talented musicians have been highly recommended by the University . They are already very active professionally and have been critically acclaimed in Europe where they have performed extensively.

They performed in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru  and Delhi, where they interacted with piano students as well.
